FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT ARE RUDRAKSHAS?

A rudraksha is the seed of the Eliocarpus ganitrus tree and plays an important role in a spiritual seeker’s life. For someone who is constantly on the move and who eats and sleeps in various places, rudraksha is a very good support because it creates a cocoon of your own energy. It is also a kind of shield against negative energies. If you have chosen to purify your life, a rudraksha is a good tool and aid, a little support on the way. WHAT IF THE TASSEL GETS OLD/DIRTY?

If you use your mala often and take it out a lot, naturally the threads of the tassel begin to weather. If this becomes an issue, I am able to remake a tassel in a colour of your choice for a minimal fee, and your mala will be like new again! (please do not cut the threading strings of your mala for this purpose – these are incorporated into the tassel and may sometimes appear in a different colour from the rest of the tassel, and are purposely left long)

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY MALA BREAKS?

Over time and with use, one day your mala will break – when this happens, it is cause for rejoicing as it is seen as a sign of karmic breakthrough. If however you wish to continue using it, I offer restringing service at a reasonable fee, and will renew the tassel at the same time.
